MONFERRATO NEBBIOLO D.O.C. SUPERIORE
Respect for a great vine and patience for his long times, are the two values that accompanied the birth of the Nebbiolo of Tenuta Santa Caterina: Navlè. Born from the homonymous vineyard which runs alongside the road of the Divine Hills towards Grazzano Badoglio. The old men of the town remember Navlè as the Cru that always gave the best results, because of its unique characteristics. A light constant breeze passes through the rows, creating a particular temperature range which allows the development of delicate and elegant flavors. The soil is composed by limestone and clay marls of marine origin contributing the to its structure and sapidity. In the cellar the key word is the time, a slow aging in barrels and then in bottle.
Navlè is not just a dream but a challenge: show that also in Monferrato the Nebbiolo can aim for excellence.
