Exceptional wines with high ageing potential, created with the intent of expressing the typicality of the Monferrato area. Therefore it represents a selection of our Collezione, whose grapes were harvested in single vineyard plots and are produced in limited quantities.
This range comprises our Monferace, a historic Grignolino wine, which has been honoured by Gambero Rosso with the three-glasses-award. This wine is produced according to strict guidelines, which foresee an ageing period of 30 months in wood barrels, followed by 30 months of bottle ageing. You will also find our Silente delle Marne, a wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, which ages in French oak for nine months, before resting for a few years in the bottle. The expression of the native Nebbiolo grape variety in its Monferrato area is being reflected in our varietal Navlè, ageing for 30 months in wood and then 30 months in the bottle. The grapes derive from the single vineyard, marked with a geometric rhombus shape that also adorns the iconic label of Navlè wine.

Monferace / Grape Variety Grignolino 100%. Vineyard location 300 metres a.s.l. with South/South-East facing. Density per hectare from 4,500 to 5,000 plants/hectare.Training system Guyot. Harvesting by hand, starting from the first days of October. Grape production per hectare 40/50 quintals/hectare. Fermentation temperature about 28-30° C, at a controlled temperature.
Silente delle Marne / Grape Variety Chardonnay 100%. Vineyard location 300 metres a.s.l. with South-West facing. Density per hectare from 4,500 to 5,000 plants/hectare.Training system Guyot. Harvesting by hand, starting from the first days of September. Grape production per hectare 80 quintals/hectare. Fermentation temperature about 18-20° C, 100% fermented in French oak barrels (225 litres).
Navlè / Grape variety 100% Nebbiolo. Vineyard location 320 metres a.s.l. with South/South-East facing. Density per hectare from 4,500 to 5,000 plants/hectare. Training system Guyot. Harvesting by hand, starting in October. Grape production per hectare 60 quintals/hectare. Fermentation temperature about 28-30° C, at a controlled temperature.
Monferace / Ageing in oak barrels for 30 months and a further 30 months in bottle
Silente delle Marne / Ageing about 9 months in barriques on its fermentation lees, with periodic batonnage carried out by hand in the first months after the end of fermentationone
Navlè / Ageing in French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 30-36 months and additional 30-36 months in bottle
Service temperature / Monferace 16-18°C / Silente delle Marne 8-10°C / Navlè 20°C
