FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers
FIVI is a non-profit organization established to promote and protect the role, work, interests and technical and economic needs of Italian independent winegrowers. An independent winegrower is defined as a producer who manages the entire winemaking process, from growing the grapes to bottling and marketing the finished product.
TENUTA SANTA CATERINA has been a member and supporter of FIVI since its foundation.
Our logo depicts “Ampelio”, the image of a winegrower carrying a basket of grapes on his shoulders, whose shadow takes the shape of a wine bottle. This figure embodies everything that being a winegrower means to us.
The presence of this logo identifies a wine made by an independent winegrower: someone who personally oversees every stage of the production chain, from tending the vineyards and transforming grapes into wine to bottling and selling the finished product.
The use of the logo is reserved exclusively for member wineries.
