Bottles Package
A package containing 12 bottles of Tenuta Santa Caterina from the "classic" and native vines of our land: Vignalina, our Barbera d'Asti in the Superior version; Arlandino, the Grignolino aged in steel, Illegale the Nebbiolo from Monferrato aged in large barrels and our Monferrato Bianco Salidoro the Chardonnay for the most demanding.

3 bottles of ARLANDINO Grignolino d’Asti
3 bottles of VIGNALINA Barbera d’Asti Superiore
3 bottles of ILLEGALE Monferrato Nebbiolo Superiore
3 bottles of SALIDORO Monferrato Bianco
Arlandino / Grape variety Grignolino 100%. Vineyard location 350 metres a.s.l. with South/West facing. Density per hectare from 4,500 to 5,000 plants/hectare.Training system Guyot. Harvesting by hand, in the last ten days of September. Grape production per hectare 60/70 quintals/hectare.Fermentation temperature about 26-28° C, at a controlled temperature.
Vignalina / Grape Variety Barbera 100%.Vineyard location 350 metres a.s.l. with South/South-East facing.Density per hectare from 4,500 to 5,000 plants/hectare. Training system Guyot. Harvesting by hand, starting from the third week of September. Grape production per hectare 80 quintals/hectare. Fermentation temperature about 26-28° C, at a controlled temperature.
Illegale / Grape: Nebbiolo 100%. Vineyard location: 300 meters above sea level with exposure to South / South-West. Density per hectare: 5,000 vines/hectare. Training system: Guyot. Harvesting by hand, from October. Grape production per hectare: 65 quintals/hectare. Fermentation temperature about 26-28°C with thermal control.
Salidoro / Grape Variety Chardonnay 75% - Sauvignon Blanc 25%. Vineyard location 300 metres a.s.l. with South/West facing. Density per hectare from 4,500 to 5,000 plants/hectare. Training system Guyot. Harvesting by hand, starting from the first days of September. Grape production per hectare 80 quintals/hectare. Fermentation temperature about 18° C, at a controlled temperature. About 10% of Chardonnay ferments in French Oak barrels.
Arlandino / Ageing in stainless steel tanks, for 9 months.
Vignalina / Ageing in oak barrels 30 hl for about 10 months and in the bottle for a further 6 months.
Illegale / Ageing in 30 hl large oak barrels for 12 months and bottled for a further 6 months.
Salidoro / Ageing in stainless steel tanks on the lees, 10% ferment in barrique refines in wood on for few months.
Service temperature Arlandino 14-16° C / Vignalina 18-20° C / Illegale 18-20° C / Salidoro 8° C
